AMDeC Foundation, Inc. (AMDeC) is an association of New York’s pre eminent medical schools, academic health centers, and major medical research institutions (including Rockefeller University and New Y University among others) AMDeC is in the process of establishing a medical research center at i.park N-Valley in Yonkers, New York.

AMDeC at i.park will initially be sized at 50,000 square feet and will include a state of the art mouse research facility as its anchor. An additional 50,000 square feet has been dedicated for spin off research labs and other bio-tech uses. This will be the largest shared institutional research facility in the United States. Three of the most respected research firms Charles River Associates, Taconic, and Jackson Labs vied for the management contract with Taconic being selected. The project is expected to create over 100 highly skilled jobs when fully operational. The project costs of Phase I exceed $10 million dollars.
