NRE was an innovator in sustainable design and energy efficiency. Our goals of transit oriented development, Smart Growth, re-use of existing infrastructure, and the reduction of air, water, and soil contamination have produced projects that far exceed measurement by LEED or any other current standards.
NRE is also committed to public access to waterfront, which has resulted in four major waterfront initiatives in four states. Most significantly, NRE has eliminated antiquated power and asphalt plants, which has reduced CO2 emissions by the equivalent of over 1,000,000 automobiles annually. |
